Of course, there’s the fishing, but there is a lot more that you can do at Peregrine. You can take part in any of our leisure activities as a group in order to promote family fun, or you can always slip away from the group for a solo massage when you need a little me time. Here are just a few of the other activities you and your family can enjoy during your stay:

Pitch & Putt: Our scenic pitch & putt course is located right beside Naden Harbour, so you can enjoy the sparkling ocean view while you get your game on. We supply you with all of the equipment you need, so you don’t have to worry about bringing anything from home to take full advantage of our pitch & putt course.

Sports Lounge: For a relaxing evening of family fun, our sports lounge can’t be beat. Play a game of pool, billiards, or cards for some friendly competition, have a jam session with our musical instruments, or curl up on the couch in front of the flat-screen TV and watch your favourite movie.

Massage and Hot Tub: Speaking of relaxing, what better way to wind down after a day on the cold water than with a hot soak and a soothing hot-stone massage?

Fine Dining: If you’re doing your family fishing trip at Peregrine right, you’ll all be working up quite an appetite. Eating dinner as a family is the perfect way to come together at the end of the day and share the highlights of your day on the water (or the pitch & putt, or heli tour, or whatever the case may be), relax, and spend quality time. Good food promotes good conversation, and our expert chefs prepare the very best food at every meal. We are also happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions that you and your family might have—just let us know what you need!

Heli Tours: The Haida Gwaii are renowned as one of the most spectacular landscapes in all of Canada, and the best way to fully view the area’s beauty is by helicopter. Our heli tours offer a bird’s-eye view of the lush green landscape, centuries-old First Nations totem poles, and local wildlife like black bears and orcas (both of whom also like to fish). All that adventure will make you hungry, so our chefs provide you with a gourmet family picnic to take on your tour.

Kayaking and Canoeing: Take the family out for a peaceful paddle in our canoes and kayaks. Paddling through the calm waters is a great way to view wildlife and the stunning Haida Gwaii landscape. You’ll see an abundance of intertidal life like starfish, anemones, and sea urchins. Not to mention the fish!

Outdoor Firepit: There’s nothing like gathering around a bonfire on a warm summer night to create family togetherness. Our outdoor firepit is perfect for cozying around, roasting marshmallows, and taking in the beautiful ocean view (or maybe even the Northern Lights if you’re lucky!).
