As we only take a maximum of 50 guests, there is no fishing pressure when you are on the waters of Peregrine Lodge. There is no need to worry about other anglers competing or crowding the waters while you fish. In addition to our secluded and calm waters, you will always have one of our professional guides onboard with you to ensure your fishing trip is always a safe and successful one.

Peregrine Lodge Offers Fully-Guided Fishing

Peregrine Lodge offers guest 10 ½ hours of fully-guided fishing per day, meaning that one of our professional guides will be on the water with you at all times. No matter what level of angler you are, our guides will bring you to the most fertile fishing grounds, ensuring a successful fishing trip.

Our guides understand that the joy of fishing isn’t just about catching your dream fish but also about the experience itself. Our guides will teach you the right techniques to catch the fish of your dreams and they are there to keep you safe and ensure that you are having a good time.

Fishing License

All guests are required to purchase a fishing license prior to arriving at Peregrine Lodge. All fishing licenses are purchased electronically through the National Recreational Licensing System (NRLS). Licenses purchased online must be printed and carried while fishing. In addition, you must keep your license on you at all times while travelling with your catch.

Exceptional Saltwater and Freshwater Fishing

British Columbia is famous for saltwater and freshwater fishing that is exceptional all year round.  Catching a Chinook salmon at Peregrine Lodge is beyond thrilling because they are fresh out of the North Pacific Ocean and at their prime for fighting. The northern waters are also famous for the mighty halibut, who put up a strong tug-of-war battle with anglers.

Our freshwater fishing package allows guests the opportunity to spend a day on the pristine lakes and rivers to catch cutthroat trout, Dolly Varden trout, Rainbow trout, Steelhead Trout as well as Coho and Pink salmon.

No matter which type of fish you choose to catch, the fish that populate our waters will provide a thrilling adventure!

Please note that freshwater fishing is strictly catch and release. We are proud promoters of catch and release fishing and encourage all guests to only take home the amount of fish they expect to consume. Environmental conservation is important to us and our professional guides will teach you the correct methods of catch and release fishing. Fish Processing

We understand that enjoying your catch at home is just as important as catching the fish itself. That is why we clean and prepare your catch, so you can bring it home safely.

Guest also have the option to send their fish to St. Jean’s Cannery, where they can enjoy fish processing services such as canning, steaking and smoking of their fish.  If you place an order with them, allow at least 8 weeks for delivery before following up on your order late in the salmon season. Processing time may take as long as 12 weeks to ship.
