It was another day in paradise here. The sun was shining, the seas were calm and the fish were biting. What more could you ask for?

This gorgeous Tyee was given a second chance today. This is one of three Tyees that were released, as well as several smaller chinook and a huge halibut estimated to be well over 100 pounds!

Happy Canada day to all our friends and family! What better way to celebrate than catching a couple of beautiful Canadian Chinook?

Great way to celebrate!

Today it was a Happy Birthday for our guest Al. Al and his fishing partner Becky caught a few really nice chinook during their trip, like this one Becky is holding from yesterday.Today Al hooked a nice 30 pound Tyee and Becky joined in a with a 28 pound Chinook. To celebrate their good luck this week and Al’s birthday both fish were quickly measured and released. What a way to spend a birthday!
