Layne and Steve both caught 28 pound Chinook today. Layne was guided by Greg and fished his Chinook out of the Parker Point fishing grounds. Steve was guided by Whitt and hauled his Chinook from the Snake Rock fishing hole. Congratulations to everybody! Today was another great day for fishing in the world famous Haida Gwaii Salmon waters.
Brian caught the big fish of the day with Guide Jake at the helm. The rolling seas at Snake Rock today could not keep these four from having a good time angeling the winner. Good times with loved ones comes natural here. Congratulations!

Preston caught the big fish of the day today guided by Ryan. The big Chinook was caught Mooching at Cape Naden at 9 pulls and Guide Ryan set the hook one handed. Nice work guys!
Joe caught the first big fish of the trip guided by Craig B. The fog was so thick at Parker Point today that they couldn’t even see the front of the boat but, they could hear the zing of the reel with this hog on the line. Congratulations to Joe and Craig B!
Gary caught this 46 pound Tyee that was released by Guide Kai to win the big fish of the day as well as the big fish of the trip. Wow, amazing angeling today at Cape Naden gentleman.

Wendy, guided by Dave, caught the biggest Chinook on the first day of the trip. Wendy kept her 35 pound Tyee to take home and has set the bar for the rest of the trip. Congratulations to Dave and Wendy. This was her biggest Tyee she has caught!
August 3rd and the Hogs are here! The Hogust Tyee fishing is off the charts. Brian guided Pat to the Catch Of The Day with this 39 pound Chinook that they caught at Snake Rock. Congratulations guys!
