Fishing Report June 28-July 2, 2023
Another week down and that means another group of guests leaving with full tubs and memories that will last a lifetime! We had our hands full with double headers going off on every boat; some guides reported that they couldn’t get the second rod ready before the first was spooling out!
The biggest fish of the week was a beautiful 33lbs catch and release. As we’ve said before, releasing these fish is equally if not more satisfying than bringing it into the dock! We love creating memories for our guests now but we also want to create the same memories for the future generations. Well done to the guide and guest for making that call!
While are main focus is salmon fishing, the halibut that was caught and released this week was truly a sight to behold. After a gruelling but very exciting fight, this monster of a fish was estimated to have weighed over 300lbs! Let it be known; the big ones are out there, you just have to find them!
