CAN I UPGRADE ROOMS OR BOATS ONCE I GET THERE?
Yes, you can definitely upgrade to a single room so long as there is an available one ready.
Larger boat upgrades are also possible to upgrade based on availability.
HOW MANY HOURS CAN I SPEND ON THE WATER?
Guests spend up to 10 ½ hours a day. Over time is available by request with the exception of departure day.
HOW OFTEN ARE WEBSITE FISHING REPORTS UPDATED?
We aim to update our website fishing reports every trip.
DO I NEED A FISHING LICENSE?
Yes, it is mandatory to have a fishing license and salmon conservation stamp so please make sure you have this ready and with you at all times prior to your trip at Peregrine Lodge. You can purchase your fishing license here.
WHERE DO I DEPART AND ARRIVE FROM IN VANCOUVER?
Your trip begins and ends at South Terminal YVR, 4400 Cowley Crescent, Richmond, which is located approximately 6 minutes by car from the main international Vancouver (YVR) airport
Check in at the South Terminal is between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm on the day of your departure. Look for Peregrine Lodge signage.
If weather conditions are perfect, you should arrive back in Vancouver between 8:00 pm -9:30 pm

Medication should be packed in your carry on and not in your checked luggage

WHAT TYPE OF WEATHER SHOULD I EXPECT?
Average temperatures in Haida Gwaii during fishing season ranges from 50 -70F (10 – 21C). Weather conditions can be unpredictable and it is a good idea to pack for a variety of conditions. WHAT TYPE OF ID IS REQUIRED WHEN ENTERING CANADA?
By law you are required to have your passport (if coming from the USA or any other international country) and all necessary travel documentation.
