Tour 6
The Haida rain stayed with us for the majority of the tour. Day one had us enveloped in fog for most of the day and as the orcas cruised the fishing grounds, the effect was quite ethereal.
To the far western end of our grounds, heading towards the Jalun river, was a halibut haven and our guides took a few of our guests up to fill their holds with the ‘chicken of the sea’
Raj landed the hog of the tour, a 27 pound chinook, it was a good looking fish! Raj takes home the honours of the biggest catch for the trip!
